Parent Night 2021-2022

Updates and FAQ:

Forms: If you attended Parent Night you received forms to sign for Parent Handbook and Technology. On the Technology form there is a space for a "serial code" -- just ignore it and turn it in Monday.(it was left on accidentally)

*If you were not at Parent Open House (First, you missed a great time and a chance to see the best classroom at HFS and maybe the Chicagoland area) but your forms are in your student's lockers waiting to be picked up Monday. Please sign them Monday night and return them to me Tuesday the 31st.

Locks: on the supply list (which I can post again later) a locker lock is listed. This is totally optional and I'd reccommend not even using one. It only slows down your student's chances of getting to class on time, as we plan to have them rotate room to room this year. These should only be combo locks and not key locks if you want to use one. Also, make sure your student is practiced and can open it on their own before brining it to school. If a student must bring something valuable to school I can lock it in my closet for the day.

Gym: Students will have gym on Mondays AND Fridays. Please (pretty please) make sure uniform is clean and is under their regular uniform on those days. If you are waiting on getting a new uniform from the school just wear some type of shorts and plain tshirt in it's place until you receive your new order.

Uniform: Ties are back. Masks are still required. Red Vests. Dark Blue/Black/White socks only. Black Belt. All black gym shoes (no other color permitted on the shoe).
This class was great about uniform, but I did let a lot of belt and sock violations slide last year. This year we are hitting it hard so make sure your student has it all together before they leave the house.

Website: Most info you need from me you will be able to find on Dojo, but we are really trying to get more parents to interact with our school website as well for important information and updates.
