ADVENTURES IN LEARNING, DIRECTOR
Adrienne L. Hunter graduated from Chicago State University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. In 2003, she earned her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. As a loving wife and mother of two, her career interest shifted toward the path of education once her passion for young people was reignited through the care of her own children. In 1997, Adrienne began fulfilling her new found dedication by working as a substitute teacher within the Chicago Public Schools (CPS).
While employed with CPS, Adrienne joined an after-school program to focus her knowledge towards helping students improve their ISAT scores. She became a reading and mathematics tutor for students ages 9-12 in 2004 and after a year she was promoted to site specialist and later to Area Director. During this time, she also served as an Adjunct faculty member with Moraine Valley College, Axia and The University of Phoenix.
As director of Adventures In Learning, Adrienne seeks to create enrichment opportunities for children to learn, grow and reach their full potential in school and life.
