Chicago native Destiny Jackson, a graduate of Holy Family and soon-to-be graduate of Whitney Young High School, has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. Jackson will join the team for the 2026 season as an elite point guard, making her commitment official during the National Signing Period.
Jackson expressed her excitement about staying close to her roots, citing the family atmosphere within the Illini program as a key factor in her decision.
